D2W mailers are made with an added eco-degrading agent that helps them safely decompose into water, carbon dioxide, and biomass within about 2 years (depending on conditions). This means that even if they don’t make it to a recycling center, they won’t linger in landfills or harm the environment for generations.
The bags stay durable and protective during shipping. They break down much faster than regular plastics. They leave no harmful microplastics behind.
We always encourage you to recycle your mailers first by dropping them off at your nearest flexible plastic recycling point. But even if they don’t make it there, you can feel good knowing that your packaging won’t stay on this planet forever.
