A lot of glassine still comes in thin sheets that you have to cut yourself, and they rip too easily when you’re in the middle of packing. Ours already comes in pouches sized for your products, made with thicker paper that feels sturdier and looks cleaner.

No. They resist dust, lint, and light moisture. For rainproofing, place the glassine bag inside an outer mailer.
Are your glassine bags food-safe?

Glassine is commonly used for indirect food contact. For oily foods or direct contact, consider greaseproof paper.
How do I dispose of them?

Flatten and recycle with paper. Remove any non-paper components.
Are glassine bags good to ship on their own?

We don’t recommend it. While glassine protects against dust, lint, and light moisture, it isn’t strong enough to handle shipping by itself. For safe delivery, place them inside your outer packaging of choice.
Can glassine be recycled?

Yes. Our glassine is 100% curbside recyclable with other paper products.
What products are best to pack in glassine?
Our glassine bags work for products big and small, since they come in a range of sizes. Use them for everything from stationery, jewellery, and small accessories to apparel add-ons, dry food items, and other products that benefit from a clean, semi-transparent presentation.
